Every cutting board in our collection is carved by hand from olive trees that have reached the end of their fruit-producing life in Crete, Greece. The wood is typically 100 to 300 years old: dense, tight-grained, and naturally resistant to bacteria. Each board is finished with organic olive oil and beeswax, making it completely food-safe with no chemical coatings.
Because every olive tree grows differently, no two boards share the same grain pattern. What you receive is a one-of-a-kind piece that functions as a cutting surface, a serving board, and a display piece.

Built to Last Decades
Olive wood is one of the densest hardwoods available, with a Janka hardness rating of approximately 2,700 lbf: nearly double that of maple. With basic care (hand wash, oil monthly), your board will develop a richer patina over time and can last 20 years or more.
