To keep your olive wood bowl looking beautiful, wash it by hand with mild soap, dry it immediately, and do not soak it or place it in the dishwasher. Olive wood is a natural material, so occasional conditioning helps preserve the finish and bring out the grain. Re-oil every 1 to 2 months, or whenever the wood begins to look dry, using a food-safe mineral oil or beeswax conditioner.
