Six bowls. Six one-of-a-kind pieces. One kitchen that will never look the same again.

This nesting set of 6 olive wood bowls is carved from mature Cretan olive trees and finished by hand with organic olive oil and beeswax. The graduated sizes nest together for storage and spread out beautifully for serving. Use the largest for salads, the medium for mezze and sides, the small for dipping sauces, nuts, or olives.

Because each bowl is hand carved from a different piece of wood, no two are the same: the tones, the grain, the slight variations in shape. That is the nature of real handcraft. Together they look deliberate. Apart, each one is its own story.

What makes it different:
- 6 pieces, 6 unique grain patterns
- Hand carved in Crete from mature olive trees
- Food safe, finished in beeswax and olive oil
- Naturally antibacterial and odor-resistant
- Graduated sizes for nesting and multi-use serving
- Ready in 5 to 7 days
- 60-day return guarantee

Care:
- Hand wash each bowl individually. Dry immediately. Do not soak. Re-oil every 1 to 2 months with food-grade olive oil or mineral oil.

Gift ready:
- Ships as a set in protective recycled packaging. An exceptional wedding, housewarming, or hosting gift. Note: engraving is not available on bowls due to their curved surfaces.

  • Every piece begins with an olive tree in Crete, Greece that has reached the end of its fruit-producing life, typically after 100 to 300 years of growth. No productive trees are cut down.

The wood is air-dried for several months to stabilise the grain, then hand-carved by Cretan artisans who read the natural contours of each piece before deciding how to shape it. This slow-made process takes hours, not minutes.

The finished piece is sanded by hand and sealed with a blend of organic olive oil and beeswax: no lacquers, no chemical coatings, no plastic. The result is a food-safe, naturally antibacterial surface that develops a richer patina with age.
