This beautiful hand-crafted olive wood round dish is approximately 5″ in diameter (being hand-crafted individual product size may vary slightly). Each piece is completely unique, due to the natural color and grain of olive wood no two pieces are ever the same.

The wood is air-dried for several months to stabilise the grain, then hand-carved by Cretan artisans who read the natural contours of each piece before deciding how to shape it. This slow-made process takes hours, not minutes.
The finished piece is sanded by hand and sealed with a blend of organic olive oil and beeswax: no lacquers, no chemical coatings, no plastic. The result is a food-safe, naturally antibacterial surface that develops a richer patina with age.
